I offer Specialized Treatments for:

Trauma

I am certified in Prolonged Exposure (as both a provider and a consultant). Prolonged Exposure is a type of trauma treatment that helps us learn how to live a more fulfilling life, one that might be impacted by reminders of painful events.  I have also taken training workshops in other types of trauma treatment and integrate Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which helps us understand and modify trauma related thinking patterns, and STAIR (Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation), which helps us to understand and learn skills around trauma, emotion regulation, and relationship patterns.

Addiction:

I offer an evidence-based and compassionate approach to help understand and change addictive and compulsive behaviors. Examples of evidence-based interventions  include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention strategies.
